Climate Change Resiliency & Adaptation

Local corps are at the front lines in helping California’s communities to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and prepare for the unavoidable impacts of climate change.

Local corps crews are trained as energy auditors, weatherization technicians, urban forestry specialists, solar photovoltaic technicians, and green construction workers.

These skills prepare them for in-demand jobs and help to reduce local emissions, increase energy efficiency, and improve air quality.

Local corps crews also work to enhance resiliency and prepare for the unavoidable impacts of climate change. Throughout the state, local corps are working to safeguard our resources and the communities that depend on them.
