Litter Reduction, Recycling, and Public Outreach
Conservation Corps of Long Beach
In collaboration with the Special Olympics and the Coca Cola Foundation, Long Beach Conservation Corps is helping with recycling logistics and educating the public about recycling and responsible waste management. Their goal is to decrease contamination and increase the amount of recycled goods collected to at least 200,000 beverage containers a year by building public awareness and facilitating recycling initiatives at public events.
